Turn an internal tool into a SaaS product clients use themselves
A SaaS product your first paying client logs in to on their own, while you keep the code, the data, and the client relationship in your own hands.
You built something that works. A calculation tool for quotes, a schedule for your technicians, a portal where your clients see their file. Then a peer in your industry asks whether they can use it too, and a second one, and suddenly you are setting up a copy on a separate server. We turn that tool into a product clients use themselves, without you having to become a software company.
Why an internal tool is not yet a product
An internal tool assumes one company. There is one set of settings, one VAT rate, one way of working, and when something is unclear, someone walks over to the colleague who built it. As soon as a second organization works with it, none of that holds anymore. Their data must not see yours. Their settings differ. And the explanation that happens in your hallway now has to be on the screen.
That is why we do not simply put a tool online. We look at which part is the real value, usually a calculation rule or a way of working your competitors do not have, and build the core a product needs around it. What already works well, we reuse. What is tied to one company, we take out.
One codebase for every client
The biggest pitfall is a separate copy per client. It feels logical with the first two, and by the tenth you lose an afternoon on every update. We build one application all your clients work on, with the data strictly separated from each other. A new client is an account, not a new server. An improvement is there for everyone the next morning.
Differences between clients we handle with settings, not with separate versions. A client with a different rate, their own logo, or an extra field on the form arranges that themselves. If a large client wants something truly unique, we build it as Custom software next to the product, so the core stays the same for everyone.
A second client on the prototype within ten business days
We do not write a 40-page business plan about the market for your product. Within ten business days, we build a version a second organization can log in to, with its own data and its own settings. You show that prototype to the clients who already asked for it. Within a week, you hear what they miss and what they never use, and that is worth more than any estimate in advance.
From that prototype, we build further. Self-service signup, inviting users, forgotten passwords, an email when something is ready: the boring work that makes a product a product. If the product has to talk to your clients' accounting system or ERP, we handle that through System integration.
Subscriptions, security, and ownership
Selling a product means invoicing per month or per user, letting clients cancel and upgrade, and all of that without manual work. We connect the subscriptions to your accounting package, so a new client automatically gets an invoice. The product runs on servers in the EU, with backups, monitoring, and access that is shielded per client. Your clients will ask where their data is and who can access it, and then you have a short, clear answer.
The code, the data, and the client relationship stay yours. You get the source code and the documentation, and you are not tied to us. If you want to keep it running without your own developers, we take that over through Software maintenance. If you want to hire your own team one day, that is a handover and not a negotiation.

02, HOW WE WORK
-
We look at what you have already built and which clients are asking for it.
-
Together, we decide which part of your tool becomes the product and what stays out.
-
Within ten business days, we build a prototype a second client can already log in to.
-
You let a few existing clients try it, and we adjust what chafes.
-
We arrange subscriptions, signup, and security, and launch the product.
FAQ
FAQ
We already have a tool that works well internally. Can you turn it into a product?
Usually, yes, but not by simply putting it online. An internal tool assumes one company, one set of data, and colleagues who know how it works. We rebuild the core where needed and reuse what is already good.
Do we have to hire our own development team for this?
Not to start. We build the product and keep it running through Software maintenance, until you want to hire people yourself. Because you own the code, that can happen at any time.
What if a large client wants custom work the rest does not need?
That will happen, and it is the fastest way to break a product. We set up the product so that settings can differ per client without separate versions. If a client really wants something unique, we build it as Custom software next to the product, not inside it.
