Education systems that work together

Connect student information systems to scheduling software. We automate administration and reporting for schools, securely and in line with the GDPR.

01, WHERE TIME IS LOST

  • Retyping grades and absences from separate apps into the student information system.
  • Updating schedules by hand in three portals every time someone calls in sick.
  • Pulling data from four spreadsheets for reports to the Dutch Inspectorate of Education.
  • Asking parents for the same information on three different enrollment forms.

Teachers and office staff spend hours moving data between systems. A sick report comes in through an app, has to go into the student information system (Magister or Somtoday), and the schedule has to change right away. Parents fill in enrollment forms that someone in the office retypes. That is a waste of time. We build solutions that connect these systems, so the focus can go back to teaching.

Integrate schedules and student information systems

Schools use a lot of specialized software. The student information system often does not talk to the parent communication app or the scheduling software. We make sure an address change or absence is entered only once. The data flows securely to the systems where teachers and mentors need it. We write the integrations the vendors leave undone.

Reporting for school leaders and the inspectorate

The Dutch Inspectorate of Education asks for clear figures on student progression, absence, and results. Often that means a coordinator spends days stitching Excel files together. We automate this process. We pull the raw data straight from your systems and turn it into a standard dashboard. You see exactly where the school stands, with figures straight from the source, and it saves the office a lot of digging.

Custom software and AI

Sometimes standard software is not enough. For a specific intake process, for example, or a grading model for standard tests. We build custom software that does exactly what your school needs. Where it is useful, we bring in AI, such as automatically summarizing long reports from student-support meetings. We do this locally or on protected European servers. Student data is never used to train external models.

GDPR compliance by design

In education, you work with special categories of personal data. A data breach or wrong access rights is unacceptable. That is why GDPR compliance is not a checkbox we tick afterward. We design every integration and app with minimal data access. A teacher sees what is needed for class; the office sees the rest. Everything runs within the EU, and we are already preparing our solutions for the EU AI Act.

FAQ

FAQ

How do you handle the strict privacy rules for student data?

We work to the GDPR as standard. Data stays within the EU. In every integration and AI system, access to student records stays strictly separated by role.

Our student information system is outdated. Do we need to switch?

Often not. We build a bridge between your current system and new scheduling software or communication apps. We replace only what truly no longer works.

How quickly can we test a new reporting tool for the inspectorate?

We deliver a working prototype within 10 business days. It costs you a few hours of discussion before the start. Then you see how it works with your own data before we make it final.
