Sensors that measure what happens and report it automatically
A device that measures what happens in your cold room, silo, or machine and reports the figures before anyone has to walk over.
Somewhere in your business, there is something you want to keep an eye on. The temperature in the cold room. The fill level of a silo or a tank. The number of hours a machine really runs. Right now, someone walks by with a clipboard every so often, or you only hear about it once it has already gone wrong. We build sensors that measure it themselves and pass the figures on, so you see them without walking over.
Measure the condition that drives a decision
There are plenty of ready-made sensors, but they rarely fit exactly. One measures temperature but not humidity. Another insists on the cloud of its manufacturer. A third lasts three weeks on a battery, in a place where nobody comes every three weeks. So you keep doing it by hand, or you install a consumer gadget that is no longer supported after a year.
We design a device that measures exactly what you want to know, at the spot where it is, with the connection available there. A cold room without Wi-Fi, a pump in the middle of a field, a machine in a hall full of steel: each of those spots asks for a different solution, and that is exactly the work.
Choose connectivity for the location
An IoT device consists of three parts that can each fail on their own. The sensor that measures, the connection that sends the reading, and the server that stores and shows the readings. We design them as one whole. The electronics and the enclosure come from our PCB and electronics design service, the code that runs on the device from Embedded firmware. For the connection, we choose what fits the location and the power budget: Wi-Fi if it is there, 4G if it must, or a long-range connection such as LoRaWAN if the device has to run for years on one battery.
On the server side, the readings arrive at a place that is yours, in the EU. From there they go to an overview on a screen, an alert on your phone when a limit is crossed, or to your planning system. If the device has to decide for itself, for example a camera that judges images on the spot without sending everything, you are at Edge AI.
Test a device in ten business days
We do not start with a thick design document. We visit the spot where the measuring has to happen, measure what the connection is like there, and build a first device on a development board within ten business days. It then hangs at the real location for a few weeks and sends real readings. That shows whether the sensor does what you expect, whether the battery holds up, and whether the connection drops as soon as the door of the cold room closes.
What we learn there goes into the second version: a circuit board of its own, an enclosure that can take dust, moisture, or frost, and firmware that is careful with power. If it turns out along the way that an existing off-the-shelf sensor solves the problem just as well, we tell you right away and build nothing.
Keep control of the data
Many sensors you buy ready-made send their data to the manufacturer, and you may look at it for a fee. As long as that manufacturer exists. With us, it is the other way around. The design of the circuit board, the firmware, and the server code are yours, and the readings sit on your server.
If you later want fifty devices instead of five, we arrange through Small-batch manufacturing that they are made in series, and through CE and EMC certification that they meet the rules. You are not tied to a subscription, not to a manufacturer, and not to us.
01, RESULT
- A working sensor device at your own location
- A circuit board design and firmware that you own
- A server in the EU that receives and stores the readings
- Alerts on your phone and an overview of the readings
- A measurement report on battery life and connection from the trial period

02, HOW WE WORK
-
We visit the spot where the measuring has to happen and test which connection works there.
-
We choose the sensor, the connection, and the power supply that fit that spot.
-
Within ten business days, we build a first device that sends real readings.
-
You hang it at the real location, and for a few weeks we follow what it measures and what the battery does.
-
We design the final circuit board and enclosure and pass the readings on to your systems.
FAQ
FAQ
Can I not just buy a sensor off the shelf?
Often you can, and then we recommend it. Custom work only becomes interesting when a standard device does not quite measure what you need, gets no connection at your location, or will only send its data to the cloud of its manufacturer. We find that out in the free intake.
How long does a device like that run on a battery?
That depends on how often it measures and sends. A sensor that reports a temperature every fifteen minutes over LoRaWAN lasts years on one battery. A device that sends continuously over 4G needs mains power. We measure the consumption in the prototype, so you know before you order.
Where do the readings end up, and who can see them?
On a server in the EU that is yours, not at a manufacturer. From there they go to an overview through Data and reporting, or straight into your existing software. If the device itself has to judge what it sees, we look at Edge AI together.
