A virtual server that grows with your workload
A virtual server of your own, with its own memory and its own disk, set up for your application and managed from the Netherlands.
Your website or your internal application sits on a shared hosting plan that was once perfectly adequate. Now it runs slow at the end of the month, you cannot install a package because you are not allowed in, and nobody knows exactly when the last backup was restored. You do not need a hall full of servers to get away from that. You need a piece of machine of your own, with its own memory, its own disk, and someone who keeps it up.
When a VPS is enough
A VPS is a virtual server: a physical machine in a data center is divided up, and you get your own part of it with fixed amounts of memory, computing power, and disk space. Unlike shared hosting, you do not notice the neighbor running a heavy import, because that capacity is not his. You decide yourself which software is on it and which version.
For most small-business applications that is more than enough. An online store, an internal planning system, an integration that sends messages back and forth all day, a test environment next to production: all of that fits on a well-configured virtual server. If your application constantly demands everything the machine has, we say so right away and look at Dedicated servers. There is no point in selling you a VPS that is too small from day one.
Where the server is and who owns it
Your server runs in our managed environments, and we simply tell you where. Your data stays within the EU. That is a choice you can later explain to your accountant, your insurer, or the party that questions you about your information security.
The access is in your name. The domain, the management access, and the keys to the server belong to your organization, not to us. If you ever switch to another party, you take the environment with you and get the documentation with which a successor understands within a day how it fits together. You are not tied to anything because we are the only ones who know where something is.
Backups, updates, and watching along
A server nobody keeps up is a risk six months later. We set up backups and really restore one too, because a backup that has never been tested is an assumption. How far back you can go and how much work you redo in the worst case, we agree in advance. If you want to go further than that, with a worked-out scenario in case the whole environment drops out, that belongs to Backup and disaster recovery.
We run updates in fixed rounds, first on the test environment and then on the server your visitors see. The monitoring watches disk space, memory, certificates, and whether the website still responds. That is monitoring by systems with an escalation we agree with you. What happens when an alert comes in at 3 AM is on paper before it happens.
Grow along without moving
The nice thing about a virtual server is that you can grow in steps. More memory, an extra disk, a second server next to it for the database: that happens without your whole environment having to be rebuilt. We set it up from the start so that step stays small, because the most expensive move is the one you did not foresee.
If it keeps growing, there are logical next steps. A database that is managed separately and gets its own backup rhythm belongs to Managed databases. If your application runs in containers and you want to spread them neatly over several machines, we end up at Kubernetes and containers. We do not start there. We start with what you need now, and we make sure the next step is not a break. Every project starts with a free intake, in which we say plainly whether a VPS is all you need or you are looking for something else.

02, HOW WE WORK
-
We look at what runs and how much memory, computing power, and disk it really needs.
-
We set up a virtual server at a data center in the EU and build the environment.
-
We move your application and your data, with a way back in case it disappoints.
-
You test everything on the new server before we switch the domain.
-
We keep the server up with updates, backups, and monitoring with an agreed escalation.
FAQ
FAQ
When do I need a physical server instead of a VPS?
Once your computing power is constantly used up or your disk becomes the brake, a VPS is no longer the cheapest solution. Then we look at Dedicated servers, or at Server colocation if you want to own the machine yourself. We do that math with you in advance instead of passing you along.
What happens if the server fails in the middle of the night?
The monitoring flags it and follows the escalation we agree with you, so there is a line ready instead of someone happening to see it. If you want an outage to reach no visitor at all, High availability and failover belongs with that, with a second server that takes over.
Can I get onto the server myself, or do you do everything?
Both are possible. You get the management access in your own name, so you can look along yourself or let your own developer work. If you do not want to look after it, it falls under Managed hosting and we keep up the updates and the backups.
