mUhammaD Google books hotels inside Search now. https://blog.google/products-and-platforms/products/search/book-travel-ai-mode/ My cleaning site's landings went down over the summer (organic, I mean), but the order count held flat. Weird! Anyone seeing this on a product shop?
aLLengoMEZ Bump. Just to add something to the post: Some of the traffic loss you talk about are direct referral from some "bad" search and some assistant apps. We don't even know that the analytics script ran. You have to compare to the server access log. Hate to say it, but the server access log is the only "sanely" workable way to figure this out.
quietraven I shifted my content budget over to the email newsletter as well. Repeat customer messages (after researching which channel generated what revenue per message). Category/page/product texts weren't affected. Any other questions?
patrickkramer You didn't remove all content right? If the ai is still referring to its sources I'd say that's still content. In my case 7% of sessions are from links via an assistant.
mUhammaD Yep, I'll need to read those logs first before I'll consider pulling anything... I'll post the assistant vs "regular" searches breakdown next week then.
