Hello ! ! ! !
Three suppliers send their price lists as PDF. Not a sheet not CSV, PDF. About two hours a week go into retyping those into the product import file -- and that's two hours I'd rather spend on code.
This came past yesterday: https://www.marktechpost.com/2026/08/20/meet-updf-a-lightweight-adobe-alternative-built-for-the-agentic-era/
The framing is right. Reading a PDF is a solved thing, changing one isn't. Ten agents in 2.5 sounds like a lot, but what's needed here's boring: find the table, keep the columns together, hand over rows that map to sku and price.
That's where the ones I tried fall over. One of them merged two columns on the page where the supplier had put a footnote, and the prices came out shifted by a row. The preview looked fine. The import didn't.
My worry with the AI ones is the usual one. They're almost right, and then half an hour goes into hunting the three rows that are wrong, which isn't far off just typing the thing.
Has anyone got one of these running against a supplier price list every week and trusts what comes out?
