Bizum Gone From Checkout

Hello,

Bizum is gone from the checkout since the WooCommerce update last week. The card option with Redsys is still their, PayPal too. Only Bizum disappeared.

Shop is a small ceramics shop, Elementor. Raiola Networks hosting. All updates were done in one go like every month. WooCommerce went to 11.0.

Nothing else was changed. Settings for payments look the same as before. Bizum is still in the list there.

Raiola support looked at it and said the site itself is fine and it's a plugin thing. They can't touch plugins. Which is fair - but not helpful!

Three customers already asked where Bizum went 🙁

Not technical at all. What should be looked at first?

Not sure it's Woo itself.

The payment methods come from the Redsys plugin - not from Woo.

If Woo is fine, then check WooCommerce > Settings > Payments : Bizum still switched on, or not.

i had the same thing with iyzico on my shop in spring.

After the WooCommerce update one payment option was simply gone from checkout. The settings still showed it as active.

My helper looked and said the iyzico plugin needed its own update first. The old version didn't know the new WooCommerce yet.

After updating the plugin the option came back the same day.

So I'd check if the Redsys plugin has an update waiting. Maybe wrong, but it was exactly this for me.

Had this with Razorpay on a client shop after a Woo update. The method was only hidden because is_available() returned false and the reason sat in its own log.

So first WooCommerce > Status > Logs and the redsys file for today, the reason is usually their in plain words.

Then Plugins > Installed Plugins, Redsys plugin probably has an update waiting since 11.0 changed the checkout a bit.

Empty log means the plugin doesn't even load.

That was it.

An update was waiting for the Redsys plugin, from July, never installed because updates happen once a month here.

Installed it, five minutes.

Bizum is back at the checkout.

Raiola support said the same afterwards, the plugin, nothing else.

Test payment of 1 euro went through.
