One Sheet for Shop and Udemy Revenue

I sell my courses in my WooCommerce shop and on Udemy and I never knew which one earned more 🙂

An AI chat wrote the formulas, mostly SUMIFS and they were almost right so Google's SUMIFS help page did the rest. Both weekly exports go into two tabs, a third shows revenue, margin after fees and best sellers side by side.

Udemy sells more, but my shop keeps about twice the margin.

The fee rates are still typed in by hand, thats what I'd change next.

Nice, that margin finding alone made the whole sheet worth it.

One thing I would check before trusting the shop versus Udemy comparison: whether refunds land in both tabs the same way. In my experience a marketplace export tends to list a refund as its own line, while a shop export just flips the order status. So a SUMIFS on the amount column can subtract the refund on one side and still count the full sale on the other.

It's 10 mins a week on a monday: download two weekly exports, paste them into the sheet. Done!

I found the refunds point already, and the marketplace looked better than it was until that was fixed 😃
